Don’t Cry, Zuzanka – a comedy that transports you to the world of a Slovak town in the first half of the 20th century. Specifically to Pressburg, full of mysterious alleys, lanes, and peculiar nooks, where the hustle and bustle of the big city echoes from Vienna, but also from Budapest. It is here that a simple but very talented girl from the east, Zuzanka, arrives by train. She has one dream: to become a painter. To study at an art school. But women had a hard time with education in those years. Zuzanka experiences life in an artistic community of bohemians, the anger of her own family, which pretends not to know her, finds new friends and loves. But will she really be able to fulfill what she desires…. A wonderful romantic comedy with songs that smell of the era, as if brought by F. K. Veselý.
