ZION FEST 2.-3.5.2025

ZION Fest is an alternative benefit event to support children with muscular dystrophy and atrophy.

Music connects people, and this is especially true in metal. There are instances when our love for heavy music can unite us all to do a good deed for those who need our help. That’s what Zion Fest is about, taking place on May 2-3 in Bratislava.

The festival organizer sends a message: "Hey, people! Zion Fest is not just another festival. It’s a rebellion against indifference, a celebration of solidarity, and proof that the underground is not just about music, but also about heart. This benefit fest was created in honor of Zion Herceg – a 14-year-old warrior fighting spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), the son of the singer of the legendary punk band PUNKREAS."

"Many people think of the underground as chaos and rebellion. However, we know it’s a space full of love, empathy, and willingness to help. Zion Fest is evidence that punk, hardcore, metal, or alternatives have the power to change lives. Everyone who plays here, comes, or supports knows that this is not about fame, but about real help. Everything we raise goes to specific families – for medical aids, therapy stays, special diets, home modifications, anything these children need."
