Woody Allen: Sex noci svätojánskej

A dynamic, slightly whimsical yet intellectual comedy set in 1905. Intellectual Andrew Hobbs and his shy wife Adriana are experiencing a crisis in their relationship. Over the weekend, their cousin Leopold and his fiancée Ariel visit their country estate. However, she is the unfulfilled love of the master of the house. The whirlwind of passion and humor is also sparked by Dr. Maxwell and his frivolous partner Dulcy. All six characters succumb to the magic of Midsummer Night, after which an unexpected resolution awaits!

The psychological depth of Allen’s characters and the specific construction of dialogues and situations guarantee a unique experience. The MDT production focuses on the interrelationship between nature and the biological aspect of humanity while employing the poetics of magical realism.
