Woody Allen: Sex noci svätojánskej

A dynamic, somewhat whimsical yet intellectual comedy set in 1905. Intellectual Andrew Hobbs and his shy wife Adriana are experiencing a marital crisis. Their countryside residence is visited for the weekend by cousin Leopold and his fiancée Ariel, who is, however, the unfulfilled love of the master of the house. A whirlwind of passion and humor is stirred up, thanks in part to Dr. Maxwell and his frivolous partner Dulcy. All six characters succumb to the charm of Midsummer Night, after which comes a resolution you won’t want to miss!

The psychological complexity of Allen's characters and the specific construction of dialogues and situations guarantee a unique experience. The MDT production focuses on the mutual relationship between nature and the biological aspect of human beings while working with the poetics of magical realism.
