Woody Allen: Sex noci svätojánskej

A dynamic, slightly whimsical yet intellectual comedy set in 1905. Intellectual Andrew Hobbs and his shy wife Adriana are going through a marital crisis. Their country estate is visited for the weekend by cousin Leopold and his fiancée Ariel, who happens to be the unfulfilled love of the master of the house. A whirlwind of passion and humor ensues with the help of Doctor Maxwell and his frivolous partner Dulcy. All six characters fall under the spell of Midsummer Night, after which an unraveling occurs that you won’t want to miss!

The psychological intricacy of Allen’s characters and the specific construction of dialogues and situations guarantee a unique experience. The MDT production focuses on the interrelationship between nature and the biological aspect of humanity while working with the poetics of magical realism.
