Woody Allen: Sex noci svätojánskej

A dynamic, slightly whimsical yet intellectual comedy set in 1905. Intellectual Andrew Hobbs and his shy wife Adriana are going through a marital crisis. Their country estate is visited for the weekend by cousin Leopold and his fiancée Ariel, who happens to be the unfulfilled love of the host. A whirlwind of passion and humor is set in motion, also thanks to Doctor Maxwell and his frivolous partner Dulcy. All six characters succumb to the charms of Midsummer Night, after which comes a resolution you won’t want to miss!

The psychological complexity of Allen’s characters and the specific construction of dialogues and situations guarantee a unique experience. The MDT production focuses on the mutual relationship between nature and the biological aspect of humanity while working with the poetics of magical realism.
