One personality, one sealed envelope, and always a different evening.

White Rabbit Red Rabbit is a world-renowned theatrical experiment by Iranian author Nassim Soleimanpour – a play that travels the world instead of its author. He wrote it during his house arrest.

An actor receives the script in a sealed envelope only on stage, with no rehearsals and no director. The physically absent personality of the author, however, has a reserved seat in the front row during every performance of this play. Each performance is unique, influenced by the personality of the interpreter and the participation of the audience. The author gives the actor only one instruction in the text: not to know the content of the play. This experimental monodrama has become a phenomenon. It is not only based on the story but also on the form that explores the boundaries of freedom, trust, and highlights the transformative power of theater. Since its premiere at the most prestigious theater festival - Edinburgh Fringe, the play has been translated into more than thirty languages and travels all over the world. In Slovakia, the play has been interpreted by Zuzana Kronerová, Anna Šišková, Juraj Kemka, and Lukáš Latinák. Who will it be this time?
