An interactive puppet playground where you can invent, tell stories, sit, run, laugh, all in front of the best audience in the world - your parents and friends. 

Children! Come and play your favorite fairy tale! Become an actor, director, musician, or theater critic for a moment. If you don't know how to start, there's a magical starter for you where you can draw the beginning of a fairy tale. Puppet+playground=puppetry space. Five original standalone constructions for puppet theater with various backdrops and sets of puppets designed for public space, open for play and developing the imagination of the whole family. A reminder of the baroque tradition of puppet theaters, open play for all imaginative children and for parents without imagination.

Duration of the performance is approximately 45 minutes 

We perform in the park opposite BBD at Dunajská 21. In case of bad weather, the production will move to the premises of BBD at Dunajská 36.

Waxwing Theatre   

This is the creative team of Zuzana Smolová and Peter Gaffney. They are interested in diverse theatrical techniques, exploring various genres, creating theater that contains intense, ineffable, irrational elements that influence and shape contemporary human experience. Their work is based on an original creative process that works with techniques of movement theater, puppets, masks, music, text, and experimentation with materials such as clay, sand, water, paper, glass, steel, and wood.

The organizers of the PRIENIKY festival are the Bratislava Puppet Theatre and the Bratislava Self-Governing Region under the auspices of chairman Juraj Droba.
