Alluring Sonatas for Oboe

The Trnava Music Spring Festival will move to the beautiful setting of the St. Nicholas Basilica in May, where renowned artists will present a unique musical experience. The program will feature sonatas for oboe and organ, which, in addition to the alluring sounds of the instruments, will also include organ improvisations and interpretations of spiritual music. 

Michal Mogila from Poland, who specializes in the oboe, will be joined by organists Matúš Maraček and Martin Bako. The solo and improvised organ parts will emphasize the deep and spiritual character of the concert, which will unite music, liturgy, and the magnificent arches of the church into a cohesive harmony.
