Hall of Fame of Choral Singing

The third concert of the Trnava Musical Spring festival will bring romanticism, featuring outstanding choral works from the Romantic era. Where better to enjoy the concert than in the majestic space of the Church of St. Nicholas in Trnava? The program will offer an impressive harmony of the human voice and the historical organ. The acoustics and atmosphere of the basilica will enhance the charm of romantic melodies.

Under the direction of Austrian conductor Norbert Brandauer, the Tirnavia Choir will perform, with Stanislav Šurin at the organ. The repertoire will include choral and organ works by composers such as Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Johannes Brahms, Sergei Rachmaninov, and Josef Rheinberger. The concert will be marked by precise vocal interpretation combined with majestic organ harmonies.
