A comedy not just about Christmas!

Christmas in an ordinary family: an authoritative mother, a son who hides his divorce, and a grandson who values every gram of food he eats. The family reminisces about their deceased father who left them and found a mistress, while past events surface, presented in a humorous way.

Why did the mother ultimately care for the father when he returned from his mistress sick? For whom is the fourth plate prepared on the Christmas Eve table? And who will kill the carp?
