A comedy not just about Christmas!

Christmas in an ordinary family: an authoritative mother, a son who is hiding his divorce, and a grandson who appreciates every gram of food he eats. The family reminisces about their deceased father who left them for a mistress, and events from the family’s past surface in a humorous way.

Why did the mother end up taking care of the father when he returned sick from his mistress? For whom is the fourth plate prepared on the Christmas Eve table? And who will kill the carp?
