Requiem for Martin
Today is the memorial service after a small funeral. In a small restaurant. In a small town.
A town so peaceful and normal that geographers sometimes forget to put it on the map. A town so boring that when you enter it or just pass through, your navigation system yawns.
Who was Martin? A happy person? A good person? A man of action? Perhaps a quiet guy who loved to fish? Was he a lover or a fighter? Who mourns him? Is death the final phase of human development? Is death a goal or just a stop? Will we ever find out?
Let us remember – de mortuis nihil nisi bene! Of the dead, only good!
Requiem for Martin, a play about death and happiness, had its Polish premiere in June 2021 in Łódź, at the Lutnia theater. The Croatian premiere took place in February 2022 at the Knapp theater. By an inexplicable fate or sheer coincidence, Martin was once again "revived" in Łódź – "reanimated" in January 2025 by Martin Jamrich and Luka Kuzmanović.
"Martin" has already visited Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Lithuania. In Slovakia for the second time.

He also loves reading books, devouring them at any time in unlimited quantity.

In Łódź, he collaborated with the Małe theater in Manufaktura, Bałucki Cultural Center, Yeta theater, and Deel theater. Co-founder of the Štoos theater, Velika Gorica, Croatia.
