“Love is stronger than a rock”

Experience with us a story full of tension, a desire for power, as well as humor and most importantly, love.

The original authorial musical The Well of Love based on the most beautiful Slovak fairy tale tells the story of the love between the Turkish merchant Omar and his dear Fatima, who was imprisoned by Count Zápoľský at Trenčín Castle. The play also offers audiences an attractive layer of male-female relationships, where the central theme is the relationship between the Zápoľský couple and the romantic entanglements of Captain Tomáš Zamarovský. All of this is set against the historical backdrop of the election of a new king of Hungary, who needs to marry the widow of King Matthias Corvinus, Beatrix of Aragon. Humor in the production will be provided by the castle jester and the guards.

A loose adaptation of the novel The Well of Love by author Jožo Nižnánsky, full of music, dance, sword fights, and laughter.
