The original authorial musical The Well of Love based on the most beautiful Slovak tale tells the story of the love between Turkish merchant Omar and his dear Fatima, who was imprisoned by Count Zápoľský at Trenčín Castle. The play also offers the audience an attractive layer of male-female relationships, where the central focus is the relationship of the Zápoľský spouses and the romantic entanglements of castle captain Tomáš Zamarovský. All this is set against the historical backdrop of the election of a new king of Hungary, who needs to marry the widow of King Matthias Corvinus, Beatrix of Aragon. The humor in the production is provided by the castle jester and the guards.

A loose adaptation of the novel The Well of Love by author Jožo Nižnánsky, full of music, dances, sword fights, and laughter.
