"Love is stronger than a rock"

Experience a story full of tension, desire for power, but also humor and above all love with us.

The original musical The Well of Love inspired by the most beautiful Slovak legend tells the story of the love between the Turkish merchant Omar and his dear Fatima, who was imprisoned at Trenčín Castle by Count Zápoľský. The play also offers viewers an attractive layer of male-female relationships, centering around the relationship of the Zápoľský couple and the romantic entanglements of the castle captain Tomáš Zamarovský. All this is set against the backdrop of the historical realities of the election of a new king of Hungary, who needs to marry the widow of King Matthias Corvinus, Beatrix of Aragon. Humor in the production is provided by the castle jester and the guards.

A free adaptation of the novel The Well of Love by author Jožo Nižnánsky full of music, dance, swordplay, and laughter.
