"Love is stronger than a rock"

Experience with us a story full of tension, a desire for power, as well as humor and especially love.

The original authored musical The Well of Love based on the most beautiful Slovak legend tells the story of the love between Turkish merchant Omar and his dear Fatima, who was imprisoned by Count Zápoľský at Trenčín Castle. The play also offers viewers an attractive dimension of male-female relationships, focusing on the relationship between the Zápoľský couple and the love affairs of the castle captain Tomáš Zamarovský. All this takes place against the backdrop of the historical reality of the election of a new king of Hungary, who must marry the widow of King Matthias Corvinus, Beatrix of Aragon. The humor in the performance will be provided by the castle jester and the guards.

A loose adaptation of the novel The Well of Love by Jožo Nižnánsky full of music, dance, sword fighting, and laughter.
