The lecture and discussion series will take a closer look at what lies behind the most popular music genres of the present time. Local DJ and music technology enthusiast Viktor Drábek, a.k.a. VKTRD, will guide you through the lecture.

Join us on a unique musical journey where we will explore the fascinating world of slow music. From the deep tones of drone and soothing ambient to experimental noise, relaxing downtempo, and hypnotic trip-hop. This event is ideal for all music lovers who want to discover and understand the diversity and beauty of these genres.

On this journey through "slow" genres, we will be accompanied by Jori Josiphson, who works at the Slovak Radio as a music dramaturg for literary and dramatic creation, as well as a music editor at Rádio Devín, where he focuses on experimental music in his programs. His work is characterized by a minimalist and drone atmosphere. The core idea of his compositions is diving into the depths of one’s own understanding. Originally purely acoustic music is enriched with electronics, while Josiphson explores the symbiosis of electronic and acoustic sound. His research is based on finding balance.

Get ready for an evening full of musical experiences that will transport you to another world!
