Smolenický zámok
The Civic Association Karpatoš is once again bringing you the popular theatrical and spooky event – Ghosts at Smolenice Castle, which will take place on October 25-26, 2025.
The ninth edition of this event will bring a piece of Slovak history to life and share a story inspired by Slovak legends. A captivating performance will be led by a librarian and his charming assistant Aneta. Along with them, you will visit a Trnava alchemist, meet the spooky executioner from Michalská Gate, and yes... you guessed it right – the bloody Countess Bathory will also be present.
A rich accompanying program is prepared for visitors:
- performances by the historical fencing group URSUS,
- a spooky photo corner,
- ghosts that will frighten both big and small,
- a crafts fair,
- face painting,
- fun games and other activities,
And there will also be a Ghost Storytelling area, which will open its doors in the underground of the castle tower and welcome all lovers of spooky and fairy tale stories, read by exceptional Slovak authors.
By purchasing a ticket, you will gain free entry to the courtyard of Smolenice Castle on the day of the event, access to the accompanying program, and entry to the hour-long theater performance Ghosts at Smolenice Castle, which will take place inside Smolenice Castle.
For motorists, designated parking lots marked with information signs will be prepared in the village. From the stops and the parking areas, you can be transported to Smolenice Castle by the Ghost Bus. (A list of stops will be published on the Facebook event and website).
