What started as an idea over a beer in a meadow in the Czech Paradise ended with a winter cycling expedition to a frozen lake far beyond the Arctic Circle. Photographer Petr Jan Juračka and his partner Juha set off on fatbikes across the endless plains of Inari – facing frost, powder snow, and their own clumsiness as their main foes. Along the way, they discover cabins without bookings, a sauna as a refuge, and unexpected friends. The result is an adventurous and humorous film chronicle about how sometimes all you need is a map, a bike, and a healthy dose of courage to turn a crazy idea into a life experience.
