There are few quotes that have so intensely defined many people's attitudes after all the apocalypses of the 20th century as the paraphrase of Wittgenstein: "Whereof one cannot speak, thereof one must be silent." A sentence misused, exploited, twisted, utilized, misunderstood, and often absurdly taken out of context, for Wittgenstein does not urge silence, but merely formulates a state of a specific experience that excludes the possibility of its communicability. Action B is the name of a specific historical event (1952 - 1953) in which a self-privileging political party (the communist party) decided, strongly inspired and actively pushed by the example of dealing with the class enemy applied in the 1930s in the Soviet Union, to rid themselves of our Slovak "class enemies." Whether we admit it or not, it became one of the many historical injustices and wounds that scarred the soul of Slovakia in the last century. Hundreds of families (over several generations) unjustly and violently deprived of housing, work, and finally even personal history, and thus of their essential identity, along with another vast group of innocent people deprived of the ability to speak, share, and communicate this traumatic experience.

The original Slovak play was inspired by the publication of Marianna Oravcová - Action B from the National Memory Institute.
