Slzy Janka Borodáča: Outcast

Uncompromising intellectual battles in physical poems. The staging by the theater group Tears of Janko Borodáč – Outcast is based on the memoirs of S. Zweig - The World of Yesterday, where Zweig conveys the image of old Europe and also opens up an important topic of pacifism, which contemporary Europeans confront as well.

Actresses Gabriela Marcinková and Anna Jakab Rakovská create in the performance a diary of contemporary European women through their personal stories, intertwining with the period testimony of Zweig. They address themes such as generational succession, clinical depression, coming to terms with parenthood, the corruption of justice in the face of losing a loved one, reflections on emigration, and more.
