Mrs. Judit (the lead role, written for Božidara Turzonovová) is said to come from a former noble family, and through her cleaning work, she aims to maintain not only her own dignity but also the level of this country. Darina (Darina Abrahámová) dreams of a lover from England who is about to propose to her, though he just doesn't seem to have the time, and the youngest, Monika (Monika Horváthová), is cleaning at the ministry for the first time. Gradually, her secret and the real reason for her presence here emerge.
