RASTER: Umenie a duševné zdravie

28 April 2025
Monday • 19:00
Trnava
Kultúrne centrum Malý Berlín

Under the heading RASTER, we present lectures focused on visual art. The lecturer is artist and educator Roman Gajdoš, who invites guests to discuss the intentions, effects, and forms of visual art.

We all know that art or creative activities have a positive impact on mental health. Art captures memories, explores emotions, experiences, and the passage of time.

For the upcoming RASTER, we invited gallery educator, curator, and artist Lucia Kotvanová, and cultural manager and journalist Michaela Kučová. The guests will introduce us to the latest research confirming that culture and creative activities can be part of solutions to psychological stress or mental discomfort.

We will learn more about specific examples and programs from abroad, where the prescription of creative or cultural activities has been implemented directly from the medical office.
