The famous story of the Spanish writer Miguel Cervantes about the knight of the sorrowful figure and his faithful servant will be presented to you by the cabaret duo, equally famous and equally sorrowful – Jakub Nvota and Kamil Žiška. They have been writing and performing together since their high school days and decided to continue doing so now – in the age of manly knighthood.

In their tragicomedy, you will learn everything essential about the journey of the forgotten poor man Alfonso Quijana, who, in his delusion, travels with his faithful servant – Sancho Panza, on a rather misaligned horse named Rocinante, and thus becomes the greatest knight in the world – Don Quijote! In addition to windmills, stampeding sheep, medieval pastorals, and rhetorical puns, the performance will give you an overview of all the false knights and their misguided thoughts and ideas over the last 500 years of humanity. The creators, with a dose of humor and irony, open the topic of self-discovery in this performance, and through “theater within a theater,” they interpret this well-known theme on stage. Those of you who have not finished this brilliant book and literary gem about wandering knighthood, and that’s almost all of us, are welcome. The performance is staged with props and songs, but without Spanish subtitles.
