This time, we will be joined by the well-known and beloved actresses Zuzana Kronerová and Darina Abrahámová. In a friendly and informal environment, we will get to know their personal stories and experiences from the theater, television, and film world. We will chat and look for #connections. Don't miss it!
The event will be accompanied by music from Erich Vladár, who will present his latest musical project Modrosvit in a premiere lineup: Magda Uhliariková and Beata Dobiášová (vocals), Erich Vladár (piano), Martin Horný (guitar), and Dušan Rozemberg (drums and percussion instruments).
Connections is an entertaining talk show that creates space for mutual acquaintance and closeness. The invited guests are exceptional people from the fields of culture, science, education, business, sports, and other areas of our lives.
Zuzana Kronerová is one of the most prominent actresses on the Slovak theater scene. After studying at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, she started working at the Theater for Children and Youth in Trnava. Later, she moved to the New Scene in Bratislava and has been a constant member since the founding of Astorka Theater. She has also appeared in television productions and series, on the radio, and in dubbing, and is active on the Czech scene as well. For her acting performances, she has received several awards, including two Czech Lions. In addition to acting, she is also involved in singing, especially chanson and jazz. For many years, she also worked as a lecturer at VŠMU in Bratislava and is a member of the European Film Academy.
Darina Abrahámová is a Slovak dramaturg, actress, university lecturer, and director. She studied theater and film science at the Academy of Performing Arts, and after her studies, she worked at the Slovak National Theater as a lecturer and head dramaturg. Later, she worked at the City Theater in Žilina. She was also associated with the Bratislava alternative dance theater Elledanse and the theater V podpalubí. As an actress and dramaturg, she has worked at the Radošina Naive Theater and in the alternative authorial theater GUnaGU. She co-founded the competition for original dramatic texts Dráma, the festival Nová dráma, and also contributed to the dramaturgy of the Kremnické gagy festival. She has lectured at the Bratislava International School of Liberal Studies. You may also know her from television.
The musical project Modrosvit is a creative attempt at an unconventional interpretation of Slovak folk music in the blue light of jazz harmony and sensitively pulsating rhythm. The project is signed by artists Magda Uhliariková and Beata Dobiášová (vocals), Erich Vladár (piano), Martin Horný (guitar), and Dušan Rozemberg (drums and percussion instruments).
Ivan Ježík is a co-author and host of Connections and the podcast Rozhovory Choices. With the team Voices, he returned to his hometown Trenčín, where he has been organizing various cultural and educational activities for several years. He cares about making life good here and that young people want to come back.
