Prieniky s Petrom Kaščákom a Ľudovítom Vaššom

At the last Intersections of the spring season, we will welcome gynecologist and obstetrician Peter Kaščák, and fruit grower, ecologist, and farmer Ľudovít Vašš on stage. In a friendly and informal setting, we will learn about their personal stories and experiences, discuss, and seek common #intersections. We look forward to seeing you!

As always, the event will be accompanied by the music of Erich Vladár, who this time will be joined by his long-time collaborator, guitarist Adrian Vitaloš.

Intersections is an entertaining talk show that creates a space for mutual acquaintance and bonding. The invited guests are exceptional people from the fields of culture, science, education, business, sports, and other areas of our lives.

Peter Kaščák is a renowned gynecologist and obstetrician. He has worked for more than 30 years at the Faculty Hospital in Trenčín, where he led the gynecological-obstetric clinic as the chief for over 16 years. He also serves as a university teacher at the Faculty of Health Sciences at Alexander Dubček University in Trenčín and is the regional expert for gynecology and obstetrics in the Trenčín self-governing region. He is a member of the committee of the Slovak Gynecological and Obstetrical Society, an honorary member of the Czech Gynecological and Obstetrical Society, the European Society of Gynecological Oncology, and since 2004 has been a diplomat of The New European Surgical Academy based in Berlin for the Slovak Republic. He was born and still lives in Trenčín.

Ecological farmer and orchardist Ľudovít Vašš operates in the White Carpathians, where he founded the friendly group of orchardists Home of Trees in 2012. Together, they focus on preserving old and local varieties of fruit trees, as well as growing trees and fruits. He regularly conducts courses, writes professional publications, and gives lectures. His goal is to inspire people on their own path to natural gardening and farming.

Adrian Vitaloš is a respected jazz guitarist who has been active on the Slovak jazz scene for a long time in various musical formations. His playing easily reveals inspiration from jazz tradition represented by world personalities, such as Jim Hall. He met Erich Vladár in the LadyMoon project, where they jointly sought to create original interpretations of well-known jazz standards.

Ivan Ježík is a co-author and moderator of Intersections and the podcast Conversations Choices. With the Voices team, he returned to his hometown of Trenčín, where he has been organizing various cultural and educational activities for several years. He cares about making this a good place to live and ensuring that young people want to return here.
