Pamätník umučených na Brezine
The Second World War brought much suffering and changed the daily lives of the people of Trenčín. Even before its outbreak, autonomy was established and in March 1939 the Slovak state was formed. Direct combat in the city took place only at the end of the war, but from the beginning, strict anti-Jewish regulations were in effect, culminating in transports to concentration camps.
The meeting is at the Memorial of the Martyred at Brezina.
