Prague Quiet Music Collective | b minor

The first concert of this year's b minor cycle brings music of silence, slowing down, and focusing on the fleeting moments of its passage.

The Trnava audience will be presented by the Prague Quiet Music Collective, consisting of Ian Mikyska (viola da gamba, guitar, recorder), Anna Paulová (clarinet, bass clarinet), Milan Jakeš (violin), and Luan Gonçalves (double bass). Come immerse yourself in the depths of meditative tones and enjoy a spring evening in excellent company.

Prague Quiet Music Collective:
is a young ensemble for contemporary music focusing on quietness, slowing down, and attention. Since its founding in 2021, it has already showcased more than twenty new works, performing both at concerts in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and at its own concerts in Prague – primarily the annual Prague Quiet Music Festival. In 2022, the ensemble began a collaboration with the Gallery of the Capital City of Prague, which has led to the exhibition Five Uncertain Situations, featuring five newly commissioned works responding to five artworks from the GHMP collections.
