THE LAST HEROES

A comedy about human dignity.

Three eccentric clients of a retirement home: a former rescuer who feels like Batman (Csongor Kassai), a former traffic policeman who stylizes himself as James Bond (Viktor Horján), and a former model who perceives herself as the beauty Barbarella (Gabriela Dzuríková). Each in their own imagination, which we play as a theatrical comic, has lived a much more significant life than in reality. With a young nurse (Lujza Garajová Schrameková), they engage in their fictional relationship games as with an imagined daughter, girlfriend, or lover.
This comedy deliberately works with the phenomenon of old age in an occasionally politically incorrect manner to highlight that none of us can escape this finale. At the same time, it remains a brilliant comedy about the most serious matters of life, performed by excellent actors.
