Concert of Honza Nedvěd & Příbuzní with guests. In 2026, Trenčín will be the European Capital of Culture. This means that the city and region have been given a chance for a positive change and many cultural events, concerts, and activities will take place here. One of these concerts is held in honor of the anniversary of the legend of the Czechoslovak folk & country scene, Honza Nedvěd, who will celebrate a wonderful 80 years in 2026. The concert will take place as a tribute to Honza Nedvěd on May 8, 2026, at the City Sports Hall in Trenčín. It will be performed by Honza's son, Honza Nedvěd Jr., with the band Příbuzní, who have performed together. Various music guests will join them, whose names will be revealed gradually.

They are looking forward to singing favorite hits like Stánky, Valčíček, Na kameni kámen, Růže z papíru, Skládanku, or Podvod with you, which will be accompanied by the tones of a festive birthday celebration. During the concert, not only the legendary songs of the Nedvěd brothers, the Spirituál kvintet, and Brontosauři will be heard, but also energetic and emotional pieces from the band Příbuzní.
