Pavol Seriš - Takt

The show "Takt" sold out quickly in February, and therefore it is returning to our stage on September 26th.

A clownish exploration of etiquette and whether it is still relevant. A lovesick oaf lost in a world of rules and conventions. Can he win the woman of his dreams? Can a renowned etiquette expert and his assistant chisel a decent person out of a boor with their eccentric method? And who is, in fact, a… decent person?
The transformation of a social illiterate into a master of tact and a social poet.

Pavol Seriš is a graduate of the Physical Theatre studio at the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno, where he completed his doctoral studies in December 2017. His work primarily focuses on one-person authorial theatre; he currently has seven monodramas in his repertoire: Did You Enjoy It, Gentlemen? From the Zoo, The Author, At the Cash Desk, Samko Tále, The Earthling, and DADA Revue.

He has received numerous awards for his authorial productions: most recently the Best Acting Performance award at the FITUA 2015 festival in Agadir, Morocco, the Grand Prize at the European Young Theatre 2015 festival in Spoleto, Italy, and the Grand Audience Prize at the Monomaffia 2016 festival in Pärnu, Estonia.
