Original adaptation of the famous fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen.

The story of the little mermaid who decides to exchange her magnificent underwater kingdom for the uncertain world of humans in order to win the heart of her beloved prince is the basis of one of Hans Christian Andersen's most famous and simultaneously saddest fairy tales. However, in our theater, you will see that despite shattered hopes and unfulfilled love, there is no reason for a gloomy mood. The new adaptation of the original story by young director Šimon Spišák offers an original perspective full of humor and the belief that it is worth fighting for ideals and dreams, even in the face of adversity. The production is part of the "live classics" cycle, which offers extraordinary interpretations of traditional world and Slovak fairy tales.
