An original adaptation of the well-known fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen.

The story of a little mermaid who decides to exchange her luxurious underwater kingdom for the uncertain world of humans to compete for the heart of her beloved prince is the basis for one of Hans Christian Andersen's most famous and yet saddest fairy tales. However, in our theater, you will see that despite shattered hopes and unfulfilled love, there is no reason for a gloomy mood. The new adaptation of the original story by young director Šimon Spišák offers an original perspective full of humor and faith that it is worth fighting for ideals and dreams, even in the face of adversity. The performance is part of the "live classics" series, which offers extraordinary interpretations of traditional world and Slovak fairy tales.
