Honza Brož & Devítka

The Devítka is among the best that the current folk scene has to offer, and you can see them at concerts and festivals for over 30 years. Its two main protagonists, Jindřiška and Honza Brož, are also known to fans of this genre from the band Žalman and Co., where they performed for 15 years.

The current Devítka is a tight-knit group of four musicians playing original songs by guitarist and singer Honza Brož.

What can you look forward to?

A relaxed atmosphere, romance, fun, and plenty of energy in the form of dynamic music and diverse vocals. The poetic lyrics, which can be pondered over or not, are probably the strongest aspect of Brož's songs. They are excellently complemented by the energetic double bass of David Hofrichter and the brilliant electric guitar of the youngest member of the band, Honza Brabec.

The concert will feature songs from all 12 CDs released by the band. You will hear old hits like Holka od koní, Hej lidi, Vrazi z donucení, as well as new tracks from the upcoming album.

We believe you will also experience with Devítka that "magical moment" that the band calls "Soul in Feather."
