ACTRESSES (love thy neighbor)

A comedy based on a true story.

In a private acting course, not only young people who want to prepare for the entrance exams to the Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU) sign up, but also three frustrated women. A former state official (Zuzana Kronerová), an insurance agent (Gabika Dzuríková), and a translator (Darina Abrahámová) do not want to become actresses but just want to resolve their issues with men, neighbors, partners... Their teacher (Viktor Horján) first trains them in walking, movement, speech, allows them to tell their stories, and finally, as a "graduation performance," they enact the balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet, which turns into an unintended farce...
Personal lives, relationship disagreements, disappointed loves, as well as disillusionment with the current situation are mixed with comedic performances and cabaret songs.
