The Slovak Philharmonic is a leading Slovak musical institution based in Bratislava. It was founded in 1949 and has since become an integral part of Slovak culture. The philharmonic focuses on the interpretation of classical music and regularly organizes concerts featuring the symphony orchestra, chamber ensembles, and soloists. In addition, it is engaged in educational activities and the promotion of Slovak musical creation.
