Divadlo TUŠ: Žabiatko

When it rained, drizzled, a little frog was born, the little frog was strong as an oak, it opened its gray eyes, and screamed: "Mama, ribbit!" — Who wouldn't know these love-filled verses by the writer Ľudmila Podjavorinská?

Poems like The Little Frog, The Theater, The Sick Bear or At the Dance, which have become folk favorites and on which we grew up, will now be brought closer to today's generation of young viewers by the puppeteers of the TUŠ Theater. In the performance, children will hear the sounds of musical instruments such as violin, dulcimer, castanets, xylophone, tambourine, rain tube, or bell. The puppets, stage, and costumes were created by Viktória Sedláková, based on illustrations by Mária Nerádová from the book published by Buvik.

The performance is suitable for children aged 3 and up.

The TUŠ Theater has existed since 2007 and focuses on creation in the field of art and education. It prepares unconventional interactive productions that directly involve the audience in the story with an educational and drama-therapeutic intention. Since its inception, the TUŠ Theater has participated in several domestic and international festivals – for example, Touches and Connections (Martin), Kremnica Gags, Puppet Žilina, Mateřinka (Liberec), Kopřiva (Kopřivnica), Miracle Nut (Piešťany), New Drama, and more.
