KKC Hviezda
The two dance at night to the rhythm of techno, their bodies intertwining with others as if reshaping humanity, space, and time. By day, they wake up in a cube of a panel apartment and cover their ears against all those who want to impose ideas about the right life and a bunch of other crap. A bit of the nineties, but also not, since the pandemic is over, one of them fled from war, and drugs are now also a commodity in the neoliberal market. They refuse to know what they want, loudly defending their right to lose themselves in the search. How can these two survive in this crisis of living?
In the comedy P0P2 (personzeropersontoo), young adults from Eastern Europe in an era of economic uncertainty and digital nomadism grapple with the changing meaning of the word "home," diving into the absurdities of the housing crisis, unattainable dreams of ownership, and ideals inherited from the wild nineties. It also touches on broader themes such as the legacy of totalitarian regimes, the impact of war, and the effects of individualization on contemporary society. The main characters are ravers – their escape into rave culture and temporary utopias of the dance floor becomes a way to regain independence, mutual connection, and joy in an uncertain world. The production is based on real stories, combining documentary realism with satirical fiction and raising questions about whether rave dreams can offer a different definition of "home," whether love, stability, and community can reside in panel apartments built on the ruins of former utopias, and what future this generation can dream of.
