The True Story of a Fictional Character

The undulating cold front is an authorial presentation by the Normálka Theatre, which takes the audience to the year 2112. Upon entering the theatre, they become visitors of a museum, where their guide gradually introduces them to the life and work of the famous weather announcer Izabella Luna Pagáčová, who lived and created in the first half of the 21st century. The guide's narration consists of a documentary that occurs live before the eyes of the audience – visitors of the museum – through a postmodern holographic device. Where the documentary ends, photographs preserved from the then (meaning today's) print media take over. The photographs gradually come to life and thus complete the probable story of the famous personality. This play is categorized as a biographical comedy. The performance is accompanied by original music.
