Divadlo Na Hojdačke: KoloBEH vody

Dear parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and dear children.

We invite you to the theater performance KoloBEH vody, presented by Divadlo Na Hojdačke.

Drop of Medard travels the world in a big water race as a hopeful favorite for victory. Along the way, it meets various animals and gradually realizes that helping living creatures is more important than winning the competition. Thus, it washes, waters flowers, drives a watermill, quenches not only thirst but also puts out a fire. During the race, Drop of Medard contemplates whether a medal is more valuable to it than helping others.

Is our primary goal to always be first? 

Will we prioritize ourselves, or will we exchange victories for the joy of helping our neighbor?
You will learn all this in a performance that will also feature cheerful songs.

With an educational intention for the youngest audience, the performance strongly emphasizes environmental and humanitarian themes.

The puppet theater is suitable for children aged 3 and older.

DIVADLO NA HOJDAČKE / Divadlo na hojdačke was established in July 2009 as a platform that brings together professional artists, focusing primarily on creation for children and youth. Since it does not have its own premises, it performs throughout Slovakia with occasional trips to the Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, and Poland. Since 2014, it has had a second independent touring company in Bratislava, operating in parallel with the Žilina headquarters.

The event has been supported by public sources: Trnava Self-Governing Region, City of Trnava, Fund for the Support of the Arts. Media partners: trnava-live.sk, TrnavskýHlas.sk, Trnavské rádio, Trnavsko.
