Theatrical adaptation of a sci-fi legend.

The most famous adaptation of the renowned novel by Herbert George Wells about the Martian invasion of Earth, The War of the Worlds, was created for radio - the American station CBS. The suggestive presentation by director Orson Welles was styled as live news coverage, leading to panic among listeners who believed the invasion was actually taking place. It was the first adaptation of the phenomenon of the power of newly emerging mass media, their ability to create deceptively suggestive images, manipulate reality, and influence people's thinking. A phenomenon that, nearly a hundred years later, is more familiar to us, but seems to leave society increasingly defenseless in the face of the development of social networks and artificial intelligence. The multilayered War of the Worlds - these are the PRIENIKY of puppetry craftsmanship and sound.

Jarkovský - Vašíček - Čámský

Tomáš Jarkovský - screenwriter, dramaturg, and director of the Hradec Králové theater Drak, and Jakub Vašíček - director, actor, and artistic leader at the DRAK theater, are among the most notable creators dedicated to theater for children and youth in the Czech Republic. Together with Daniel Čámský - composer, drummer, pianist, and seafarer, they have created several exceptional theatrical productions in established theaters and on the independent scene, for which they have received both domestic and international awards. They enjoy exploring frontier situations and posing questions. They collaborated with the Bratislava Puppet Theater on the project The Recorded Association of Slovak and Czech Puppeteers presents: The Outlaw and Gašparko.
