Member of the British Parliament Richard Willey, staying with his wife at the Westminster Hotel, wants to have his first romantic meeting with opposition secretary Jennifer Bristow at the same hotel. Everything is perfectly planned, but everything goes wrong the moment his assistant books the most inappropriate room, setting the stage for one of the funniest misunderstandings in the history of theater!
