Čechomor - Trenčianske Teplice

Czech-Moravian music group that processes folk songs in an original way. They have been active on the scene for over thirty years. During that time, Čechomor has changed both in personnel and stylistically many times. However, their characteristic feature has always remained the ingenuity of arrangements, unique expression, and inspiration from folk songs.

The group has successfully performed in Europe, North America, Russia, China, Mongolia, and Australia, recorded more than twenty albums for leading Czech and world record labels, and collaborated with numerous prominent artists – American singer-songwriter Suzanne Vega, Irish singer Iarla Ó'Lionáird, Japanese drummer and shakuachi player Joji Hirota, bassist Tony Levin, Jaz Coleman, Vlad Kumpan, Ivan Tásler, singers Lenka Dusilová, Ewa Farna, and many others.
