CARMEN – Forever

CARMEN – Forever is a contemporary staged concert that combines live music, dance, and stage presence into an intense and deeply relevant experience. Inspired by the music of Georges Bizet and the theatrical and cinematic language of Carlos Saura, it presents Carmen as a symbol of freedom, presence, and choice. CARMEN – Forever is a modern reinterpretation of one of the most universal myths of European culture. It creates a lively and lasting dialogue between music, movement, and the stage, where each musical language not only accompanies the plot but also shapes and intersects with the character's transformations. Flamenco becomes the central axis and root of expressivity, but its voice also expands into other worlds – Afro-Cuban, tango, and opera – revealing the depth and diversity of Spanish artistic heritage through a modern and open perspective. The performance is conceived as a scenic journey, where it is not about linear storytelling, but about transitions between states. Individual moments capture Carmen's transformations: from revelation through confrontation to a continuity that does not end. Here, Carmen appears as she is: free, present, and untamed.
