The audience will suggest any fairy tale, and the impoverished puppeteer will perform it with his meager equipment. In one performance, he can execute three to ten stories, depending on the length of the performance...

BBBB - that’s Buchty and Loutky, an independent theater with over 30 years of existence, more than 60 premieres, a plethora of musical and film projects, numerous tours around the world (Europe, Japan, Taiwan, USA, Canada, Mexico), and a bunch of prestigious awards. Buchty a Loutky, with their unmistakable poetics, original methods, and perspective, have significantly influenced many emerging companies in the Czech Republic that openly acknowledge their legacy. Marek, Radek, Vítek, and Zuzka have staged the performance Popolvár at the Bratislava Puppet Theater.
