Bratislava Hot Serenaders

Bratislava Hot Serenaders is a unique orchestra that, under the leadership of trumpeter Juraj Bartoš, has specialized in hot jazz music from the 1920s and 1930s since 1991. The orchestra is among the world’s elite in authentic interpretation of jazz music from this period, as evidenced by awards from European festivals, as well as positive feedback and reviews from around the globe. In 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2018, this top Slovak jazz orchestra conducted concert tours in the United Kingdom. The best pieces of the hot jazz repertoire were performed before hundreds of listeners in cities from southern England (Exeter, Marlborough, London) through the heart of Britain (Birmingham) to Scottish Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The orchestra consists of fifteen musicians, the ladies' vocal trio Serenaders Sisters, and the singer (stylishly referred to as a “crooner”) Miloš Stančík. The orchestra plays authentic instruments from the 1920s and performs in custom-tailored tuxedos and dresses from this noble period.
