Bratislavské bábkové divadlo - ŠTÚDIO 1. POSCHODIE
The performance is part of the inaugural year of the international festival PRIENIKY. More information can be found at www.prieniky.sk
Unnecessary heroes who have nothing left to prove. They are just trying to survive, but when it really matters, they are capable of any impossible mission.
The action-packed American film “The Expendables,” directed by Sylvester Stallone, brings together an amazing number of aging action movie stars from the '80s and '90s, and is deconstructed by the Buchty a loutky ensemble. In the film, a group of hitmen arrives on the island of Vilena to eliminate a dangerous dictator. However, the action becomes complicated. But here are the Expendables – men who can be sacrificed for the sake of a military operation. In this theatrical adaptation of the well-known film, you'll find a parody of machismo, Disney-style sugary lyrical scenes, and pop culture references, all served up by Buchty a loutky with everything that entails. The Expendables utilize the PRIENIKY of traditional puppetry and film-realistic storytelling.
